Our granddaughter, Peyton, is 18 months old now and this was her first real Easter holiday. So it was very important that the décor reflect the playful side of Easter with the bright spring colors.
I love the lime greens and bright yellows against a crisp white tablecloth… unfortunately, the iron decided to die Easter morning.
We had colored eggs earlier in the week and they made the perfect name tags for the day!
The centerpiece was some fun, glittering eggs on a stick that I found at the Dollar Tree and the white petunias that are waiting patiently to be planted. Maybe this week!
The bunnies were a big hit with kids of all ages. Thank you Dollar Tree!

DeleteHi shirley,
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time to visit, and I really liked your pretty Easter table.
I love green, yellow and white myself it is so fresh and springy looking.
Your grandaughter is simply adorable, and know you must have had oodles of
fun with her. Your pics are all beautiful.
Blessings, Nellie
Glad that you visited Nellie! The colors just felt young and playful! Think that Peyton enjoyed it too!
DeleteSuch a pretty and festive table! I'm sure your little grandaughter loved the playful bunnies! That's a cute idea - to use the colored eggs as name cards! I'll have to remember that for next year!
ReplyDeleteYes Leslie, the eggs just seemed like the perfect name card to me! And Papa Gar and I had made an abbudonza of them!
DeleteA very pretty table -- love the bunnies in the glasses with an egg to mark each place! And your centerpiece . . . a great Easter table!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha. It was a fun one to do with all the playful bunnies!
