Foxy's ..Then and Now!

We moved into “The Hood”  the end of May 2000.  At that time, the best description of Foxy's was that it was the ugliest house I had ever seen. 




The only saving grace was a large, large covered party room on the dock.  And the dock was deep water on the right side of our many bridges to accommodate our sailboat!  The sailor in me was sold.

And a wonderful view down Sara Anne Bayou to boot!! Wahoo!

That was 12 years ago.  Since then we have totally remodeled the property that we now call “Foxy’s” after a bar on Jost Van Dyke in the BVI that we adore.  Since we both have so many ideas wandering around in these water logged brains, it has been one project after another.  There isn’t an interior wall in the downstairs that hasn’t been changed, moved, or reworked.  We do 99% of the work ourselves and it has definitely been a learning experience.

Looking back, I wouldn’t trade a minute of this journey.  I am going to be adding pixs of the progress we have made as time allows.  Hope you enjoy the ride!!
